5.  A chance to reconnect.  We've all been busy (and maybe a little stressed) this year.  Well this is a good excuse for us to catch back up and see how things are going.

4.  Meet a few new people.  The Atlanta Symphony Ball attracts a good mix of Atlanta's established and rising stars in every field.  They added the Grand Finale to make it easier for young professionals to join in the fun - regular ball tickets are $1,000.  This is a great opportunity to make a few new friends or business connections at a fraction of what it would regularly cost.

3.  Drink.  Then drink some more.  Someone did their research and found many young professionals enjoy a good drink.  That's why unlimited premium drinks are included with the tickets.  At a minimum, this should make for an interesting story or two.

2.  Dance until your heart is content.  Who doesn't love a live cover band?  Well, mix some great tunes with the unlimited drinks - mentioned above - and we may get the next YouTube Idol.  Seriously, the band was great last year and I expect nothing less this year.

1.  Support a good cause.  Sure the drinks, dancing, and desert (I forgot to mention that) are great but all ticket proceeds go to educate the Symphony's music education program.  I'm a nerd so I looked this up.  Many scientist teaching children music makes it easier to learn other subjects.

To do my part, I set up this eventbrite and am making a small donation for every ticket purchased.  Basically, just as you see above with eventbrite, Google Checkout charges a 3% fee.  I will make sure the symphony receives the full $125 per ticket because I know how much easier it is to make payments online with a credit card.

Let's make this night a success and start an annual tradition.  Maybe next year we can convince them to bring in some food.

P.S.  Dress to impress.  Also, if you have specific event questions, contact Jennifer Upton @ 404.733.4116 or jennifer.upton@woodruffcenter.org.

P.P.S.  By popular demand, we are now accepting donations.  If you can't make it but still want to support a good cause, give $25, $50, $100, or whatever you like.  Donations can be made using a card above or with Jennifer (information in previous PS).
